A healthy person is one who’s doshas are in balance, appetite is good, all tissues of the body and all natural urges are functioning properly, and who’s mind, body and spirit are cheerful or full of bliss.

Lately a lot of research has been done about what makes people happy. About 50% of peoples happiness comes from voluntary choices. A choice could bring you personal pleasure like making love, or eating chocolate, dancing, racing or shopping. Pleasure is different then happiness. Pleasure only last a day or two and then we search for it again. But happiness comes from having meaning, and purpose and making a contribution to life and to others, true happiness comes from making other people authentically happy.
